How did mass incarceration happen?

“The closer we get to mass incarceration and extreme levels of punishment, the more I believe its necessary to recognize that we all need mercy, we all need justice and-perhaps-we all need some measure of unmerited grace.”

-Bryan Stephenson EJI

What is “justice”?

What are pathways out of Mass Incarceration?

We stand for change and restorative justice.

At Mass Incarceration Must End Inc., we advocate for equal treatment of all individuals with respect, compassion, and truth. We support the wrongfully convicted, over-sentenced aiding their reintegration into society. Our mission is to end the unjust system of mass incarceration and raise awareness of issues like racial disparities and harsh sentencing. We mobilize support for policy reforms prioritizing rehabilitation and restorative justice through education, lobbying, and community partnerships. We aim to dismantle structures that uphold mass incarceration and promote a society that values human potential and redemption. We also advocate for the abolition of the death penalty, opposing state-sanctioned murder.
